this was will's first attempt at launching a flash-mob. obviously, it didn't quite reach mob-status, even in terms of socorro, but a lot of useful lessons were learned, and we anticipate great results with the next one.
similarly, i felt like i did a pretty poor job of covering the event by myself - these things happen quickly, and while i'm fairly fast with a camera, i definitely could have used at least one more person shooting (we had plenty of gear out there with us, but somehow, all of our potential backup photographers were nowhere to be found when the time came).
anyway, if you're bored, in enough on the loop at tech to be aware of these events, and able to handle a nikon-body camera, and don't mind shooting...we'll treat you to lunch afterwards or something...

Based on the time, I would guess my availability would have been slim to none; but feel free to attempt next time anyway. I might just be able to break away for a short while.
Sorry Toasty. Sickness combined with general lazyness got the best of me. Ill try and make the next one.

I read your blog once in a while. Mostly when I'm sitting at the computer wondering what everybody else is up too. I generaly don't have time these days.
