possible mistake

for a long time, I've intentionally throttled myself to reading only one book per day (at least, with respect to non-technical books. I've never finished a technical one [of any merit] in a day, and suspect if I did, I wouldn't be at all concerned with starting another). It is possible, however, that I've been committing a serious mistake...

no. i really don't. i think there is something to letting yourself subconsciously digest a book. you're not ever going to pick up everything on the first pass, and re-reading can turn out to be important. is just a limit you have to learn to live with.
